volt sensor

does ne one know where the volt sensor is generally located, and if it is possible for me to do it myself, or if i need to take it in to get fixed

I didnt know there was a special sensor for the voltage? Only thing I could think of is that it is built into the alternator.

Why do you think it's bad?

umm well, i have replaced my alternator, my batttery and my wires, what else could it be, i was told that a volt sensor is exactly what went bad
