Quick Question

I've got 2 mtx subs that are 450rms a piece when wired @ 2 ohms. I'm looking to purchase a mono amp for them and am wondering if I should be buying one that puts out close to 450rms at 2 ohms or 900rms at 2 ohms?

im guessing they are 4 ohm dvc (dual voice coil). so i would look for an amp that does 900w rms at 1 ohm. Then just parallel wire all the coils.

Subs are 4 ohm, SVC. So I should be looking at an amp with about 900rms x1 and when wired in parallel to 2 subs it will automatically go 450rms x2?

subs will always handle the same power at any ohm, only the amp changes power.
