quick question about my sub and deck

i just got the alpine ida x303, i have it hooked to my kenwood 1k watt amp... i noticed it is always on. with my old deck i was able to turn the sub on when i wanted...with the new deck it is always on. how do i shut it off with the new deck?

It has a sub output so you should be able to atleast turn it all the way down or fade it out or something. I dont have any experience with that deck so just keep playing with it.
