1997, but it was the one with the gold Kicker on the dustcap, then Solobaric in red printed under that, then C, then D, then L7.

I thought they were older than that. I upgraded from a pair of the c-12's to a pair of the gold logo solo's many moons ago. Way back when you had to go isobaric to get a relatively small enclosure. I still remember the rep bringing the first one into the shop.
