Quick over view of a system I helped put together

Car: 1991 525i BMW
Stock alternator 140amps
4 or 2ga wire (I can't really tell. It was already in the car when my brother bought it)
Red top battery (my brother in law)
Kenwood x895
Subwoofer 1998 HCCA 10" Orion
JL audio 6.5" component set and 2" full ranges (I think peerless)
Exile 2400.1
3ft^3 tuned to 36 or 38hz (I don't remember)

We finished this several months ago. But it's not my car. But I've been driving it for the last few weeks and listening to it. So figured I'd post this up.

Car originally has a Solo Baric X 12" kicker in a 1.5ft^3 sealed
JL 500 amp
stock front stage

Long story short. My brother is impressed and even I am.

I met almost all of his goals.

He wanted it as cheap as possible.
And a small box.
well. The box is bigger but he is ok with it. He is just happy with the sound.

Thanx quick correction though I designed the box didnt actually get to build this one. Glad hes pumped about it thats what its all about being happy with your system.

The guy who built it kept telling my brother it was going to get really loud but sound like ass. Funny thing is. He is pickier than I am...and he likes how it sounds. That shop was dead set on the whole "you have to build to what the manufacturer recommends."

That kind of small minded thinking keeps people from truly getting the sound they want out of small drivers and even large ones too.

Yep theres more to it than that shame they built it sub up port up design showed sub and port on the front firing back .

Efficiency is a great idea for those of you out there who don't want to shell out the money or can't for batteries, wire and alternator upgrades.
