Ok, im not a noobie about car audio, but i dont know all of it.

Ok my HU fried some how, and now it wont work, the dealer said it was out of warrenty anyways so they could not replace it, i would have to by a new one. My freind gave me an output addapter, on one end it has 4 or 6 speaker wire, and on the other side it has 2 RCA inputs. Now, i know the remote wire is the "turn on" switch, but i had to put my stock radio back into my car to have some sort of music. My question is, how would i go about pluging my Remote wire in, seeing how my stock radio does not have the capability for that nor the RCA capability. Could i run my remote wire from my Fuse Relay System, or battery straight to the amp or what.

Thanks to whomever in advance.

if your subs hit harder with your factory radio than aftermarket--something is wrong. in fact your amplifier is what controls the volume of your subs so thats pretty weird. but if you ever run into a problem like the remote again you can look at the map of your fuse panel and just run the wire into an unused accesory or ingnition controlled slot.

thats what i did, instead of runing my remote wire threw the firewall to the relay system under my hood, i hooked my remote wire to my raido fuse, i found out, that running it to my relay keeps my amp turned on all the time, so since i ran it to the radio spot on the fuse box, it turns off when i turn the car off.
