quick help please

im on the te middle of hooking amp up i have a sony head unit .im using the amp for 2 subs.on the back of the headunit for the blue remote wire is for like a plug type thing. how do i connect the blue wire to that.and also the rca i dont know which to plug in the in or out put sections on the amp or headunit.

Connect the rca's to in on the amp and out on the hu. And if there's a clip on the wire I would just say cut it off and splice in the remote

thersnot a clip on the wire but there is no wiring coming from headunit just a hole to put a plug-in that syas remote and its blue

How many sets of outputs does your head unit have?

If only one then that will simplify things a bit on which to use.

If there are multiple sets then use the set for rear outputs or use the one for subwoofer output if present. Additionally if your head unit does not have a dedicated set for subwoofer usage but has the option of switching the rear set into a subwoofer set then choose that option in the appropriate menu (consult your owner's manual) and you're gold.

The other end of your RCA cables goes into the inputs on the amp.

If your remote accessory activation output from the head unit already has some sort of plug on it you can either go buy a corresponding end terminal to match to it or you can simply cut it off and direct-splice to that wire (likely what most here including myself would suggest if for no other reason that simplicity)

That input plug port you're seeing is for a Sony wired remote control.

There should be a blue or blue with a white stripe wire in the HU's wiring harness for remote accessory activation....
