Quick Help - How Do I Wire 2 1VC Subs - 2 TXA 1000D's -> 1ohm

Hey guys,

I finally got my 2 cadence wild beast 15" woofers yesterday after DHL lost them. Im going to be wiring them down to 2 ohm and running them with my Cadence TXA1000 amps, Ive got 2 of the amps.

Im unsure of how exactly this has to be wired and if I have to connect the 2 amps together. Couldnt find any diagrams for this.

The WB's are 4 ohm single voice coil

Like I said, I dont quite understand how this is going to be wired. If you strap the 2 amps together with the cable, do you only have to run the sub wires to ONE of the amps? Assuming I would have to switch one amp to a slave amp and one to master....

In which case I think it would be wired like this

Not quite clear sorry, but when speakers have to be wired in parallel how do you split/combine the speakers wires so only a single + and - go to the amp.

I will also be inverting these subs. Assuming I have to flick the phase switch on BOTH of my amps

A diagram would be AMAZING

Thanks

Dont kno much bout strapping but are you saying the subs are Single 4 ohm and you want to wire to 1 ohm if so u cant

2 Single 4 ohm can be wired to 2 ohm or 8 ohm together

So why not strap the amps and wire a 2 ohm final load to the amps?

Fvck Im sorry, I forgot my amps when strapped together make 2000 watt @ 2ohm

so its 2ohm, not 1ohm, how would I wire that. Curious how the wiring should look and what way would be best to do it though, dont know about splitting the wiring to the subs.

Thanks

not sure on the strapping part... running the subs in parallel will result in a 2 ohm load. if you are running 1 sub on each amp, you will not be able to alter the configuration to get the 2 ohm load. can you exchange the subs and get DVC's?

your amp manual should explain how to strap your amps together, if not do a search and you'll be able to find a thread on strapping, saw one a few days ago. As for the subs, you just run them in parallel to get a 2ohm load. By parallel I mean + to +, - to -. If your sub box only has one terminal cup, then just wire the subs together inside the box, then all you have to do is run one set of speaker wire for the strapping.

Well my subs are inverted so the wires are outside the box anyways. But what I dont get is exactly where the wires go, like to run it in parallel you say + to + and - to - . Does each sub get its own connection at the amp?

Also, like I said, when there strapped, do the speakers wires only have to run to ONE of the amps (master)
