Quick Gain Question, Need some help

I have an eclipse 3000d HU with 5v preouts. & I am running two alpine amps (v12 with the digital read out) I have both amps (4 channel 75wx4, and a monoblock 1000w@2ohm) Set to the highest gain (4v) and with a bass heavy rap song playing I can max out the volume and the speakers dont distort, they get loud but no distortion. (polk db components) and the sub I am running is a15"type-r. I was wondering for this setup if I am running it properly or if there are any problems I may encounter. TY much for helping our a newbie.
