Hey all, im designing a sub box for my buddies S10 ext cab.
He is gonna go with a single FI BL 12" and aq 1200D.
I designed a slot ported box using RE Calc, then modified it a bit.
Box is 2.255 Cu ft tuned at 33Hz.
port is 3.5" x 11.5", 39" Long
Was stand the box up and have the port firing up and the sub firing forward. I am concerened because the port will be on the end of the box (ie. middle of the cab) and the sub will closer to the driver side of the cab, will this cause any cancellation issues due to the port not being inline with the sub? i would have designed it with the port behind the sub firing at the back of the cab but there is no room to do so with his requested dimensions...
some advice would be appreciated, thanks!
