Quick comparison question

I can certainly hear the difference between the CVR's and everything else available to me, but I can be happy with it.

I use to feel the same way about kicker, but then I bought a pair of 12" CVR's for $110 cause they were cheap and I needed some subs till I could save some cash for better ones. I beat and abused those things for 2 years, and for the last 3 months that I owned them ran em off a RD audio 1750.1. They sounded good all around and got very loud. And surprisingly never blew even though I was putting more than double their rms power rating. So I got nothing bad to say about the CVR's, yes there are better subs out there, but for a budget system they would be the first sub I would recommend.

Yea that's pretty much what I'm going for, something that I won't mind abusing. I'm thinking two CVR 12's on a Polk PA880.1 run with 4 gauge at 1 ohm.

idk ur budget, but ssa dcon 10 or 12" subs cost $115 for the 10 and $125 for the 12, those are sq subs and will be a way better choice than the kicker subs.

do u already have the polk amp? i have polk subs and all, but u can prob do better $ wise than the polk amp

I cannot disclose actual numbers, but I will say that I am not paying retail for these items which is why I am willing to spend money on a system at all right now. Money is tight as it is, so this is a splurge for me.

You can splurge in a fleshlight, but instead of buying a fleshlight, put your money towards the AQ SDCs.

Out of my budget, that simple. As much as I like car audio, I'm trying to keep this as cheap as possible. Entering holiday season, taking a vacation soon, etc.
