***Quick Box Help***

Alright, I need a quick answer because I have to design this box tonite, and travel to get materials in the morning, and then build it tommorrow. This is the first time I have designed a vented box like this one, and I have a few questions. If the Red Zone of the vent is 4 inches what should the width of the green zone be? Also would I Treat this box like two separte boxes or one box? I know this is vague so ask any questions...here is the VERY VERY ROUGH SKETCH, the box will be desinged Finally in Sketch up.

Mods I know this is in the wrong section, but the general forum gets more traffic, Feel free to move if you want to.

EDIT subs will be mounted on the same face as the front of the port, one on either side

those two widths should be equal

if red is 4 inches green is 4

So treat it as one common box...

So Would I design the box the same way I designed a box like this...

For example...If this box in this post was 2 cubes net with a 3 inch vent thats 20 inches long....would The box in the original post be 2 cubes net with a 3 inch vent thats 20 inches long... would the two boxes be tuned the same?

why not make two seperat eboexes with two seperate ports if yo uare going to do that? and its 2", not 4.
