Could i do alt bracket to battery negative and alt bracket to shock bolt? If I do this should I move my battery negative wire to the shock bolt also?

Just run a good battery - to chassis. In addition, you can run a couple different engine to chassis grounds/ ***** to chassis grounds and it won't hurt anything.

Ok. I did alt + to battery +, battery - to chassis, alt bracket to chassis, and alt bracket to battery -. Is this correct?

That's fine. You didn't need to run the alt bracket to battery -, just to the chassis would have been fine, but it won't hurt.

there is already a fuse between the alt pos an battery pos. i bbypassed the fuse box. is alt bracket to battery neg then battery neg to chassis ok? instead of alt bracket to chassis then battery neg to chassis. i have a ground run also.

You do not need an alt bracket to -batt.

All you need is

ALT + to BATT +

BATT - to Chassis

Engine/Transmission block to chassis

just look for existing wires it's a really simple concept all you're doing is replacing the grounds, and adding an extra alt to batt +
