Quick Audison lrx6.9 question

I want to use channels a and b for my front and rear speakers and than bridge channel c, so it would be a 5 channel set up. When I bridge channel C how do i wire it to a 4 or 2 ohm load? For me to bridge I connect one wire to one + and one -. Does the amp automatically read what load the subwoofer is or am i missing something here?
