Quick 4 channel amp wiring

You should use fade instead of balance in this scenario. In this case you could just use one input on each set of channels, like using channel 1 and 3, instead of 1 and 2, but it's really not necessary when you can just use the fade instead of balance for left right seperation.

 
When I use the fader all the way to the rear it completely cuts off my front speakers. If I got Y adapters and ran the RCAs in 1+2 and 3+4 on 4 channel mode that would get me to where I want right?
