The box i just bought has 4 holes. it only has two positive negative outs on the box one on each side (dont know what it is called) i want to run two subs off each amp ( i have two amps) if i run the both the wires from the subs on each side right from those outs will the one amp be powering two subs or will both amps be powering all of the subs? i will put up a picture. if both amps will be powering all for can i take speaker wire and run it right from the sub to the amp or i should use the outs on the box?

Are they MTX 5500's? What amp are you going to be using?

If your amp is not 1ohm stable then you will have to wire it to a 4ohm load. The dieagram I gave you, you will have to do this two times

i am using a jl audio 500/1 and a jl audio 250/1

well luck for you the amp will still put out 500 at a 4 ohm load. Wire the subs to 4 ohms. the loest the amp will take is 1.3 and it clips like a MF at that. So, just wire it to 4 ohms and you will be all set.

well for the diagram you sent me my sub doesnt have positive and negative on both sides just has one..soo how would i wire to 4 ohm like that?

Ok well the specs that you gave me said dual 4 ohm, but no problem here is a digram for a single voice coil.

In this case you want to go with the first diagram

HAHA i think i blew one of my subs though bad smell =\ turned it down checked it out maybe just the voice coil?? even if so i paid 100 bucks for both on ebay would it be worth it fix the voice coil or just upgrade to the 7500's for $100 a piece?
