Will it work?

I have two pioneer 12's dual 4 ohms wired at 1 ohm on a power acoustik BAMF. I wanted a lil bit more but the only way i think i can get more is if i get two more and wire them at 2 ohms but then i'll be losin power. I was lookin in a book and it shows runnin 3 dual 4 ohms will need a load of 0.67 ohms. Can it be ran on an amp with a 1 ohm stable?

You can but some amps are barely 1 ohm stable and others are way more then 1 ohm stable (.5 or so)

It will void any warranty and you'll have to make your own choice, maybe someone on here can comment on your particular amp but I cant.

You could also get different subs, Pioneer subs arent the best or if your current box is sealed get a ported box.

x2.

Before you go and buy new subs, or more subs, build a ported box. See if that's enough difference for you... if not, grab new subs... or a new amp. Wire it at a higher ohm.
