Question...

if i have a dual 2 ohm sub that handles 2000watts, and 2 amps that run 1000 each watts at 2 or 4 ohms...how do i wire this to get the full 2000 watts out of the amps to the sub?

would i just hook a positive and negative on one side of the sub to 1 amp, then the positive and negative on the other side of the sub to the other amp?

strappable? im not sure what you mean by that. the whole set up is a fi Btl d2, and 2 alpine pdx 1.000s. they can put out 1000 at both 2 and 4 ohms...if that helps at all.

Meaning bridgeable. These amps are not bridgeable. Wire each coil to the output of each amp. Set gains for same output from each amp.

Never mind, misread original post.

Wire each coil to an amp. Make absolutely sure each amp gets the same signal, and has the gains set the same.
