question

if you have 2 4 ohm subs and they are single voice coiled, then paralleled they will present a 2 ohm load on the amp. Thus, making the amp send the power out as if it were one sub, and the 2 subs splitting the power. so, 125W RMS each

if you run two 4 ohm subs in parallel, you present the amp a 2.something ohm load. If the amp does 250x1 @ 2 ohms, how could you logically come to the conclusion that both subs would get 250w? BadAzzDD is right.....125 per sub.

How do you figure? The amp only has 250 watts of power to deliver.. That 250 watts will be delivered across the speakers and divide according to ohms law. 125 watts per speaker....
