instead of buying an amp that can push more watts, can i buy another hifonics tx1005d for my system so I have 2 running to 2 subs, each sub has its own amplifier. Are these amps strappable or whatever or would this not work? I dont wanna have to run all different power/ground/turn on cables and wires for the 2nd amp.

well depends on what you've got run back there now? i assume 4ga? if so you will just need to run another 4ga for the new amp and a ground... you can use the same remote and rca's

or if you just want a single run of cable thru the car you can run something thick like 0ga and split it into two 4ga in the rear where the amps are

either way, you can use the existing remote/rcas for it... just gotta supply it with the juice

use Y adapters to split the RCA's signal to both amps.... something like these:

i dunno about your amp, but look on it and see if it has rca "outputs"... if so you can just use another short rca cable to go from those outputs to the inputs on the other... if it doesnt have em you gotta use Y adapters

and for the turn on just cut a piece of wire and put it from the remote turn on from one amp to the other
