it was actually by accident. i cleaned the cat tray and there was no garbage bag in the trash can, and i scooped the shit in a paper bag we had from the bakery so i set it down to put a garbage bag in the trash can and the douche just starts eating shit

I think he said cooking oil, not motor oil. I don't think it would cause a fire because there's nothing combustible in the cat litter to make the grease in the oil ignite.
