Question regarding my 01 eclipse

My question is that if I want to set up my subs do I really need to rewire my car completely. My brothers along with a bunch of the sound buddies have told me that I need to do this, however, I have a couple of my friends telling me otherwise. I don't need to be totally screwing up my car so I figured I'd come here for some advice before I start anything. Thanks for the help.

it depends on what you want to do. if you are doing spl, i would run your deck, amps, speakers, and subs all off of a common ground. but if you dont care just your regular power and ground wires.

In a daily setup, all the wiring youll need is the amp kit and the wiring kit for your head unit.about 40 bucks itll cost for everything.
