question regarding bass output.

ok so i built a wall for 4 15" rockford p1 (i know there a shitty sub never been a fan of rockford but i couldnt pass on the deal) so i built the wall and the deminsions are i think 40"w x 34"t x 24" d. i also chambered the subs so they each have there on enclosure and for now it is a sealed box and it is in an 05 expedition. back to the problem. it hits the low notes very well but anything say over like 50htz just sounds flat and like ***. what could be the problem and possible solution. i am thinking about just building a completly new box. the box is well built but i am thinking of a new design. but i know these subs can do better. thx in advance
