Question on preamp outputs

I have a Pioneer DEH-3500 in my car and the internal amp is powering the 4 speakers in my 4 doors. It has 2 preamp outputs one for subs and one for the rear. I want to put two more speakers in (total of 6 speakers in car) (which will be in the dash behind the rear seats) that are powered by an external amp.

My question is: If I plug in the amp to the rear preamp outputs, will the rear outputs from the reciever still power my rear speakers in the rear doors? Or will the reciever turn off the rear line using the internal amp?

Thanks

I really don't want to spend the money on another amp, I have a limited budget, and the speakers in the doors are only 4in speakers (the stock size) I really am trying to go cheap.

You can use both the pre-amp outputs and speaker outputs.

FWIW - if you're only going to amplify one pair of speakers make it your fronts. If you have the majority of the sound coming from behind you it just won't sound right.
