The X sounds a bit smoother up high but just doesn't smash the lows like the Q. The Q is quite a bit louder and smoother down low than the X, just doesnt sound as good up high... but can in the right box I'm sure. I heard both of these in 2.2^3 ft tuned to ~32hz.
