Sold Question on big three

Ok, i recently installed big three, now i have a pontiac sunfire 96 (dont laugh i kno sunflower) but anyways and i did the big three but my car only had one wire running from the neg, and it was to the engine, to be specific the trany. had none going to bare metal so i just went ahead and put one, so my question is should i have done that or should i have done a big 2? lol

engine block would be better. just find a bolt that doesnt incase fluid directly. they're there you just gotta look and pay attention.
