Question on Amp power draw

Im going to buy a Kicker 750.1 amp soon, but my electrical system is all stock. If I have dimming problems, will turning down the gain on the amp reduce the dimming? Or will the amp draw the power regardless how low the gain is set?

power draw will be when turned up...if you have dimming problems, fix the car's electrical

I would also seriously look into a rear battery
