Question on Alpine 9885

[JEEP4X4DRIVER]

In my 98 Jeep Cherokee, I already have a 4 year old Alpine 7874 CD player installed. Will the 9885 pretty much fit in the same metal sleeve and hook up with the same harness?

Yes it should. Though the harness may differ.

harness will be different going into the unit, but you can re-use the car harness.
