How good is this amp? i heard that kicker designs amps that get blown out pretty quick and it gets hot easily.... is it true?

not true, great amp. puts out around 1400 rms at 1 ohm

yes, we have a designated team of about 30 R&D staff, they travel the globe, looking for new technology so the amps will over heat, send clipped signals, un-regulated strapping modules, class Z technology, and instead of dissipation of heat, actually have reversed fans, to **** in heat and sand.

See, people feel they need tons of current, well, not ours....you can run them off 6v....yep, 6v and still get 20% over ratings at the reccomended impedence.

kicker amps are very reliable.they got the bad name from there l5's & l7's subs blowing.

im not the one saying it.i know its prolly newbs blowing the subs with bas boost etc.but the word on the street and in most car audio shops is that the square kickers blow easily.i wasnt saying they did.i was meaning thats where some ppl come up with kicker is junk.i know from experience cvrs hold the wattage.i like my 12's sealed.they really beat hard to be sealed.500 watts each

we actually see very, verrrrry little come back, and IF we do, it's roasted coils from sheer over powering them.....the L series blow NO easier than any other driver out there...........I have had L5's off ZX2500's, but if I max gains and bass boost, and blow them, do i blame the manufacture, or myself....nah, manufacture.
