Question in regards to AMP settings HELP!

Hello All,

Ok so yes im a newbie here and kinda a newbie when it comes to setting up car stereo's.

By the way this is all in a 2007 scion tc.

Here is what i have hooked up.

1. Stock pioneer HU

2. Exile S500.1 Amp

Amp is rated at 500x1 at 2ohm rms and 1000x1 max at 2 ohm

3. Kicker L5 in ported box

Kicker 12 inch sub is rated at 600watts rms and 1200 watts max

I have it wired down to 2 ohm for maximum output.

My Question here is i need help setting the settings on my AMP to get the best sound/most bass and be able to get good high and low bass.

My choice of music is as follows

1. 75% Rap

2. 25% Rock/Alternative

Here is what i have all the settings at currently on my AMP

Bass Boost = 12db

Subsonic = Approx 30hz

Config - LP

Freq = Approx 150hz

Level = Max

Then i have a remote bass knob that i usually have all the way up.

I will try the settings you mentioned i sure appreciate it alot.

And as far as level = max and your WTF responce lol

I dont know what it is all it says on the amp is Level?

if you want i can see if i can upload the pdf manual for the Amp?
