Question: hifonics and kicker??

Noo man you can get DVC 4 ohm. I have DVC 4 ohm Comp VRs and a Hifonics Nemesis 750 watt and they absolutely pound. As soon as I get my new deck they'll be 2x as loud.

I have mine wired at 1 ohm and the amp barely gets warm to the touch.

how about on 2 tempest 15's i was just looking at this amp on ebay and thought it may do well what do yall think for that ?

Since the tempest is a dual 8 ohm VC, the lowest you can get the impedance is 2 ohms. I would recommend looking for an amplifier that puts out 1500-1800 into 2 ohms.

From what I hear, in a ported box a tempest can get damn loud with as little as 300w

well I could be overdoing it, hehe. Personally I would ask the adire people about how much power to run, and what size of box, etc. Their customer service is A+++++.

The Tempest is an efficient little bastard...doesn't need anywhere near the power suggested to get loud...

the box i drew up on the box forum (slot box 27hz 8 ft) get almost 124db at 600 a sealed 8cube box can get up to around 120 db @ 600 watts according to winsd pro thats 300 to each sub mind ya

but now that i look at it the 1500 is 900 watts @ 2ohm so that realy only 450 to each sub that could work

but the thing is i found a 1500 on ebay from what looks liek a good seller 99.6% + feedback with a ton for about 280 shiped
