Your healthcare is provided by your government if i am not mistaken. Please explain how that works. how much is taken out of your paychecks percentage wise.

why the U.S. doesn't do this like almost every other country in the WORLD boggles my mind. so many different problems would be solved.

What people don't know is that it isnt as specialized as the USA medical field is, also there are huge and I mean huge waiting lists. Hell if you have something serious most of the people will travel to the USA than wait for the govt. to see to their needs.

well i'm not dissing canada but there doctors are not as good as us doctors. yea the health care is free, but not as good as the us. the reason is, is because all doctors in canada get paid the same so what is there motivation to be better? why should they get extra education if they are not going to make anymore money? you could have someone who just barely made it through medical school and another one who got staright a's but each get paid the same.

You are correct. This one guy came to the US paid for the heart surgery out of pocket because he would have died waiting for it in canada.

Most of my doctors started in Canada and left me for the US //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
Oh and waiting a year for surgery sucked ...

Of course, if Canada didn't have free medical care, I'd be COMPLETELY ****ed w/ my $400+/month in prescriptions + regular specialist/doctor visits + weekly blood tests + other tests (x-rays, MRIs, cat scans, etc.) + surgeries ...

So, yeah, I'd rather wait a while for inferior care than be in massive amounts of debt from which I'd never recover ...

This is very much on a side note, but I wonder if there are more steroid users in canada? Why do I wonder this? Well pro-athletes can do it safely because they get routine blood tests to make sure their system is okay. Now in canada I would think you could get routine blood tests for free right? Do you have to prove something is wrong with you to have them do a blood test?

Do you just ask for a blood test or how does it work?

james are you some kind of gimp? what's wrong with you brotha!?! haha, my mom writes my prescriptions, does my blood tests, i RARELY ever go into a office. what service eh? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
