Question for Parents with daughters

That is why you would take them to the restroom of the same *** vs. opposite ***, until they are old enough to use the restroom themselves.
Not me, I don't go into a women's restroom. My youngest goes into the men's room with me. There's only been 2 or 3 times that we've had to do that, but for single parents I guess it happens a lot more often.

Would you like to take a piss if some dude is holding the bathroom door wide open while a woman is peering in?

you so confused right now about what i am saying

not sure you have noticed the way bathrooms are made, but when you open the main door in a public place you cant get a view of the whole bathroom so if you watch the employee at the main door who is watching your kid in the stall you cant see into the bathroom and neither can anyone else outside

of course with your paranoia level you should really be afraid your child might get abducted by aliens while in the stall, but thats a whole different matter

i'd try to get a female employee to hook me up with the employee restroom, and let her go by herself, she's 9 now so she can handle it herself in a big bathroom, but when she was little this usually worked
I never worked at a place that was open to the public that had separate restrooms.

there is usually a smaller store to go to here in the bay area thats in the same parking lot...
Best answer I could use yet.

Right, that is what I meant. But a girl of 7 or 8 standing in the stall with you (even the handicapped one) is weird. I would tell her to sit in an adjacent stall.

It wouldn't bother me really. The dividers by the stall prevent her from seeing anything.

I am most concerned with locking a child in the stall with you while you do number 2.

sigs are off :shrugs:

it would still offend other people and can be ****** harassment. It is something the company would not want to get involved with, considering all the sue happy people these days.
Indeed. I think that is why the ask a woman w/ kids to do it.

I have seen several good ideas.

The only way to understand is to be a parent. If you're a parent and you're not a little paranoid when it comes to your kids you're not a very good parent.

and prevents you from seeing her, depending on how young they might play with the toilet, or stick their hands in there. A kid playing in or around a public restroom stall, Thats a scary thought IMO

Well, one can understand somewhat without being a parent. For instance, I like the idea of bringing the girl in, but not in the same stall, the adjacent one. That way you could know she is safe without compromising yourself.

And then if she has to go...bring her in the men's and stand outside the stall until you think she is old enough to go by herself.

Now I have a pretty good set of decision rules in place in case it comes up if I am a parent.

Yeah, I can see your point on that, Flip. I only do #1's in the stall when my girl is with me, and even then, like I said earlier, she stands behind me between the locked stall door and me going #1 when I absolutely have to go. Going #2 like that, I'd pretty much have to be ready to crap my pants having to go so bad to do that with her in a public stall. I'd much rather wait until we got home.

I don't trust ANYONE for any amount of alone time in a situation like that with my daughter that I don't know VERY well, or isn't related to me. There's just too many sickos in the world now, both male and female alike.
