question for kappa components

I have some Inifnity Kappa 60.5cs components and Infinity Kappa rears. I've been thinking if i should ditch the rear run them off the HU. The problem is i have a 4ch mtx amp that does 70x4@4ohm if i bridge to 2ch it is 280x2@4ohm. Will my components handle this?

Don't bridge it but run all four channels to your fronts. Then yeah just hook up the rears to the HU

LOL it doesnt. Will, you DO want to bridge your four channels to two fronts. two channels shall be bridged for the left and two other channels shall be bridged for the right.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif and yes power the rears off your head unit and set the fader so that the rears are not so audible sitting in the front, but are audible when sitting in the bac //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I got one question about bridging. Are those infinitys 2 or 4 ohm? I heard the newer ones are 2 ohm and that amp wont like that if bridged and 2 ohm load. If 4 ohm no problem. Only way to run 4 channels to the speakers is if the crossovers are biampable. Never mind I looked it up and those are 4 ohm so no problem

thanks for the answers but how would i set my gain? would i use sqrt(280*4) or should i just turn it up the gain up until i dont think they can handle anymore?

i think you want sqrt(150*4) which would be getting 150 watts (or lower than 150?)? im not sure when bridging but i have infinity perfect 6.1 components and am powering them with a two channel. and i have my gain set using the formula, sqrt(150*4) so i get 150 watts at max volume playing a sine wave.
