OK!!! 0 gauge is 0 gauge... but is 1/0 gauge actually a bigger kind of 0 gauge? like a step up?

Second.... this sucks... my firewall has alilililililili hole that has a plastic ring around it where this one wire is going through.... and then where my 4 gauge was.... holy crap it wont fit in the hole!! I MEAN i know 1/0 gague is bigger then 4 but this sucks!

Also... now if my gain on my sub is set really low... or pretty low... doesnt that affect how much power is being sucked from my bat? Reason for thinking this... is becuase the higher the gain the more the sub hits (im just summing it up...) and the more it "hits" the more power it sucks to make it "hit" more.... so therfore less gain=less power drain? am I correct?
