Okay, maybe he wants a lot of bass... point is he said I want to get some subs for $600 what should I do... doesn't want new speakers or anything so this is what he wants to do.

then go with a cheap LOC and the equip you listed....when he gets the other vehicle move the system over and throw the LOC away

haha kk thanks... and it just hooks up to the speakers wires and then you run rca's off of it? Only have ever installed on aftermarket decks never a loc so sorry for the dumb question.

yes...then adjusting the levels on the LOC

same as setting an amp gain, but instead of testing for high voltage, test for VAC max 5volts or whatever you want the input voltage to be into the amp

hey, sorry to jump in but im gonna do the same thing soon,

eventhough is says it can handle 80 watts per channel, will it support the 1000 watts?
