Question about Yellow Top..

Since the yellowtops have both top and side posts, can you use both of the at the same time? I have a YT upfront and one in the back so what I was wanting to do is run the wire from the front battery to the side posts and use battery terminals on the top posts of the second battery to go to my amps.
