Question about wattage

ok so im gonna be buying the ALPINE PDX-1.1000 MONO amp that has 1000 watt rms and 2 subwoofers. Now im gonna be wiring these up in parallel but with doing this with 2 subs does that mean each sub gets 1000 watts or because theres 2 of them they each are only gonna be getting 500?

500 watts per sub,

make sure u wire them to a stable ohm load on that amp, i dont know much about alpine amps, so you need to check that.

500 to each sub. That amp is stable down to two ohms. You will need two 2ohm DVC subs or two SVC 2/4 ohm subs. That amp is not stable @ 1 ohm.

i was planning on getting 12" kickers 750 rms 4 ohm dvc would that be stable or do i need to get the 2 ohm dvc versions?

u cant run them down to 2ohms

ud have to get the 2ohm dvc to run them stable at 2ohms for the amp
