question about these subs....

My friend is looking to buy some new subs for his '01 prelude and he wants to buy some subs for his car. He has just a $250 or so spending limit for it and so we were looking on ebay for some. We were wondering what would be some good subs to buy for that price. We saw this on ebay and were wondering if they are decent, and if anyone has had any experience with them.

Anyways how many does he want? Does that 250 include him looking for a box as well?

I would recommend for that much the alpine type R's you can get cheap off the net.

I would also recommend the Pioneer premier 2004/3004spl subs off the net as well. These are 12"s I am recommending. Goodluck!

audiobahn arent the best. there is plenty out there that you can buy for 250. but that depends on if that 250 includes the cost of an amp as well. if it doesnt you can get subs way nicer than that and if it doesnt you can still get a sub or subs better than those and still not break the bank

it looks like he needs subs, a box, an amp, and an install kit.

For that price, I would grab a kicker CVR off ebay.

An amp to power it

A power acoustic 4 guage amp kit - $30

Build a box - $40

might be a bit over the price range... but that setup you have right there is amongst the worst setups you can get.
