Better sub than IDQ 12" for $160 shipped?

Any thoughts on a better sub than the IDQ 12" for $160 shipped?? I'm looking for a solid SQ sub (with a little spl too). I'm pretty set on a sealed box. Any suggestions?

Diamond Audio D6 .... new .... Ebay ...... At least as good if powered correctly , and LOUDER playing ability .....

^x2 on diamond or a 12 inch avalanche if you can get it from AA. Its worth a shot just give them a call. I think the 12s are going for about ~$170

you could look into Dayton HFs. They get pretty loud but have huge SQ

Well, the IDQ is hard to beat for flat out SQ, especially for that price. But, its also a bit of a specialty subwoofer, you dont see alot of people asking about them. Usually if you are interested in IDQ's, you already know what you're doing and what you want. IDQ's are extremely SQ oriented for extremely small sealed enclosures. They're not meant to impress anyone's buddies by blurring their vision, and they're not meant to pack into a large vented enclosure with tons of port area. If you want a little more output from your sub (little more SQL than SQ) or if space isn't such a limiting factor, Id suggest looking into the IDv3 from ImageDynamics, or the Oz Matrix Elite, or a few of the others mentioned above.

Ive seen them on ebay in that price range, but that vendor stopped selling them a while back. There is one currently on ebay, says new, at a great price. I'll list the link in case you're interested in checking it out.

Don't we have any more Oz vendors on the board? It seems to me there was a while back where maybe tplaya07 or someone could get Oz audio products authorized at really good prices.

Yeah, tplaya07 here can get them for good prices authorized. Mr. Marv on ECA is another Oz dealer on ECA and his prices are also very good.
