Nice GF. I'd go with the 12w6v2. $100 for a sealed box.. thats fokin insanely high IMO. nope. nope thats not true at all. virtually ALL ported boxes will have a peak around tuning. actually, all ported boxes will have a peak around tuning. want me to show you some graphs? sq in the car audio world, is "refrence level" and therefore peaks are the devil, because we want everything to be the infamous "+0db" - aka 'refrence level'.

on the contrairy, ported boxes can sound GOOD. they wont have the same SQ as a quality sealed box. for sq - sealed>ported

the common man doesn't understand what the hell you are saying or could interpt any graph you post. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif just going by personal experience i have noticed very little difference in terms of sq between sealed and ported. it could also depend on the type of music you listen to.
