Being a fellow cop, I guess you would have to call the police unit or highway patrol who wrote you the ticket to varify the actual amount. Neither one of them sound right, infact it sounds like them are added together. Or you were in a construction zone.

the speeding ticket may be right, as they tend to be high at times, but ****, thats high for seat belt violation. here its 50 first time, 100 second, and 200 third...don't know about after that. had a cop pull me over one day....kinda chicken sh@t if you ask me....I had just pulled out of the drive thru at the bank,, and had had to take my seat belt off to do the banking stuff, just hadn't taken the time to put it back on yet...anyway, both me and the wife had no seat belt on, so he could have given me 2 tickets (think thats bs too, if she isn't wearing a seatbelt she should get the ticket, not me)...but he was nice and only wrote the one for me

I used to drive a Cutlass with mirror tint. I didn't have to be breaking the law to have my car searched. Apparently, tinted windows = probable cause.

id rather have that then here in N.B, Canada. ****, they make you take off ANY tint thats not factory!! sometimes they make you try and tear i off on the spot!! crazy! but usually they'll give you a date to come to the polie station and show its off AND of course a $86 ticket as well F###ED UP!
