Question about taking seats out (for deadner)

for your seat? does it have memory? if not then you should be good. it's the same as disconnecting the battery (they loose power)

and if so, then just unbolt it, lift up the front and do that area, then lift up the back and do that area.

The back is staying out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

It could be your seatbelt reminder, or a seat heating thing. Just make sure you re-connect it.
I have manual seats, the only thing electronic in my seat is the seat belt reminder.

I cannot be 100% sure, but I think that in the seat they might have a sensor to see if their is a person sitting there for the airbags too.
In my truck, it has the off/on for airbags on the dash where you stick your key in there. That's what I was thinking of, airbags. I don't think that it has sensors in there, because there is always a driver and the passenger is selectable.

Yeah if you have a switch in the dash, then it is not in the seat.

there are 4 bolts for each front seat (assuming buckets). take out all 4 bolts. rock the seat backwards so that the front of the base is off the floor. deaden that area. now rock the seat forward so that the rear of the base is off the floor. now deaden that area. put the seat back where it should be. reinstall bolts
