Question about pre amp output

i have a kenwood kdc-mp338 head unit and it only has 2 preamp outputs the rear is a switchable rear to sub output. my question is, i'm wanting a 4 channel amp if i get a 4 channel amp with a pre amp output on the amp and run my mono amp from that how well will it sound

i have the kdc-mp338,profile ap700m and i'm looking into a profile ap740 or any other 4 channel amp that would work for me
