Question about ohms

i have 2 12'' Alpine Type R's they are the 1241D dual 4 ohm voice coils, and an Alpine MRD M-500 amp. Can i get a 2 ohm load out of it and if so can somebody please tell me or send me some good pictures on how to wire it down to a 2 ohm load please help me.

you can either give it a 4 ohm load or a 1ohm load you cant give it a 2ohm load

only 2 options....4 or 1 ohm.....

yea hes got 2 dual 4ohm subs, but if he had 2 amps and wanted to make it 2ohm on each amp he could but not with 2 dual 4 subs and only one amp

yes but he has dual voice coil subs....2 of them....wired in series/parallel its a 4ohm load.....not 8...if he had one sub it would be an 8ohm load....but he has 2.....parallel will be a 1 ohm load....check the pics above out
