Question about noise from Pioneer 880 deck

Just installed the deh-880prs and i must say it looks nice. Thing is with the volume turned off or way down I can hear what sounds like a small motor or fan running from the deck. I have never heard noises from other decks Ive owned and this one is fairly noticeable (goes away when power is turned off). Anyone have any ideas? Also after the install today my airbag light has come on in my 2004 civic, I cant see why my fiddling with the hu would set it off. Any ideas?

Its the fan, unless you want thermal failure leave it alone.

Airbag...go to the stealership. Those are one thing i dont mess around with, to expensive

you could have a wire resting against the fan making the extra noise. i can't recall the fan on mine being that noticable. and yeah, don't mess with the air bag, they are expencine and don't feel so good, lol
