Question about my plans/ports

I got my eight 4" aeroports in. I was wondering since these are a different size compared to the 6" ports would I want these longer than the original plan? The plan was for four 6" ports, 10" deep.

I have eight 4" ports, 17" deep each, out of the box. Do i trim them down to 10"?

Longer=lower tuning...I have to go finish our SPL boxes...Ill check back later to answer any more questions.
