question about my mono block amp.

It's not the subs that handle the ohms, The subs create the ohm load. The amp has to handle 2 ohm. And when you hook up subs in parallel (All positives together) You half the ohm load. 4 becomes 2.

If you run series, Which is positive to negative you double the ohm load. making 2 4ohms 8 ohms.

Ohms is just a resistance measurement. all positives together equals little resistance.

 
alright. thanks alot man. i guess ill just have to try the two ohm load. hopefully i dont blow my subs.
Just take it easy at first, After you get to know the sound of your system you can tell when you are pushing it to hard. If you have a ported box be sure and turn the subsonic filter up to just below tuning so your subs can keep back pressure up and won't bottom out.
