The amp has to handle 2 ohm. And when you hook up subs in parallel (All positives together) You half the ohm load. 4 becomes 2.If you run series, Which is positive to negative you double the ohm load. making 2 4ohms 8 ohms.Ohms is just a resistance measurement. all positives together equals little resistance.</blockquote>
