question about l7's

well i just got my two kicker l7 15's installed today and there loud as hell, but the sq is not so good, i know that the l7's don't have the best sound, but i had 2 type r's before and they sounded better, but were not as loud, is i just because the suspension needs to soften up a little or what?? there in a 10 ft^3 box tuned to 35 hz in the back of my jeep.

um maybe be tuning is it A prefab box or your low pass filter maybe a lil breaking in

L7s have the potential to sound good, but in most installations I've seen them used in they simply aren't going to...

Where is the low pass filter set, and at what slope?

no its not prefab i made it, i have only played them for like 20 mins so tomorrow ill mess with them more, i just wanted to know if they sound better after the suspension is softened up a little

ya thats true, i just didnt think they were going to sound that bad though.... im gonna mess with them today im ordering 2 rolls of Raamat because the jeeps rattling eveywhere so maybe its just the jeep that makes them sound bad...
